Wayne Allen LeVine
Wayne Allen LeVine is one of those rare authors who motivates through both the written and spoken word and lives his life as an impassioned poet, writer and public speaker. In 1980 he left his hometown of Chicago and chased his dreams to Southern California where he currently shares his life with his wife and, when they are home, his two sons. Today he is a member of the Academy of American Poets and is invited to speak to groups throughout the country.
Wayne’s early experience as a competitive gymnast shaped his later focus on life that allows him to see his surroundings in all their glorious detail. He is a disciplined writer and spends hours each day perfecting his craft. He regards his family as his true spiritual foundation. His older son Ryan is a gifted songwriter and musician and is leading his own band, Test Your Reflex, on a world tour. Ryan credits his father, Wayne, with giving him the imagination and confidence to reach his dreams as a lyricist in the commercial music world.
Wayne Allen LeVine, the soulful, romantic mountain climbing poet, brings a spectacular new compilation of lyrical observations of the human experience to life in both of his books of poetry, Forgiveness For Forgotten Dreams published in 2004 and Myths and Artists: Poems published in 2006. He is currently working on his third book of poetry as well as his first non fiction title. Wayne travels the country speaking on his favorite topic Peace, Poetry and the Pursuit of Dreams. He can be reached through The Center Press for bookings and signings.
